<h1>An Evening Under The Stars</h1>
<p>This was a wonderful evening and gala event for all, honoring: <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Robin Wal</strong>l with the Valley View Vaulters' <strong>Benefactor Award</strong>, for her sponsoring Valley View at Rancho Rio Verde in Long Beach, for over the past 25 years, including her putting on the "Day in the Country" Fundraiser to help support the Valley View Vaulters each of those years.</p>
<p><strong>Sylvia Son</strong> with the Valley View Vaulters' <strong>Appreciation Award</strong>, for all her tender loving care for all our Gentle Giants, plus Grooming and Longeing them and helping to teach, over the past 15 years. <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Blake Dahlgren</strong> with the Valley View Vaulters' <strong>Most Accomplished Vaulter Lifetime Achievement Award</strong> Blake has made a full circle. He started vaulting at the age of 2 1/2 at VVV, grew up in the sport of vaulting, went to World Championships, came back as one of the Best vaulters in the world and now is back at Valley View as a vaulting coach for our Canter Vaulters. <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Annmarie Leone</strong> with the Valley View Vaulters' <strong>Inspiration Award</strong>, She started vaulting at the age on 9 and now is 32 and has accomplished so much over the years. She has never let her C.P. hold her back. </p>
<p>About 60 Valley View Friends were there for our honorees. It was a pleasure to see so many faces from today's and yesterday's vaulting families.</p>
<p>The 4 Awards given, were hand crafted horses heads, made by a young man from Terra del Sol.</p>
<p>We want to thank our new Board of Directors for all they have done to make this Special Evening happen, especially Lucy Matsumoto for allowing this wonderful evening to take place in her beautiful home.</p>

<h2>Miracles Happen on Horseback</h2>
<p>In April a short story about Valley ViewVaulters by Morgan St. James entitled <em>Miracles Happen on Horseback</em>, was released as an Amazon Short. Morgan has been writing stories about us in several of her books, and she has written and published this story as a stand alone book.</p>
<p>What is an Amazon Short? Amazon Shorts is Amazon's new publish-on-demand offering. It makes available for download a multitude of short stories for only 49 cents, and then you can print them, forward them or whatever you want.
